8 Session Workshop
Developing A Healthier Body Image Through:
-learn to recognize and deconstruct negative media messages about food and weight
-learn what healthy eating really means and a more positive way to manage weight
-learn about dealing effectively with interpersonal relationships and coping/self-care
-learn to let go of perfectionism, and increase your self-esteem and self-acceptance
Each student is provided with a Healthy Body Perception Training manual with information on all of the topics including media and body image, healthy eating, assertiveness, self-care, etc.
