This workshop on urban revitalization in upstate New York, will
include policymakers, scholars, and practitioners from Hamilton,
Utica, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Ithaca, Saratoga,
Schenectady, and Binghamton to discuss the problems and
challenges of upstate cities in New York. They will examine
different approaches to rejuvenating the downtown and changing
urban space from projects for urban greening, to partnerships
with business, to links with universities.
