CUTV/Colgate Athletic Department Webstreaming

     Starting this season, CUTV will be adding many other sports into is broadcasting through the web.  In a joint venture with the Colgate University Athletic Department, we will now being broadcasting Men and Women’s Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, Football, Volleyball, Men and Women’s Soccer, Men and Women’s Basketball, Softball, and Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse.  Webstreaming will have a small fee but it will begin a new era in the broadcasting of Colgate Athletics.  The following is a list of the scheduled games for the spring, with more games on the way as we receive scheduling.  Follow the link below to get you All-Access pass today.  Any questions or comments can be sent to cutv@mail.colgate.edu.

CUTV Ice Hockey

 

     The 2006-2007 kicks off this year with the reintroduction of Colgate Men’s Ice Hockey back into CUTV programming and the continuation of CUTV Women’s Hockey.  Both teams will have most of their home games broadcasted over CUTV, with certain games being picked up by Time Warner Sports.

     During the past year, CUTV’s relationship with the Colgate Athletic Department has grown to incredible levels.  In a joint project with the Athletic Department, CUTV will be webcasting hockey games for a small fee through the Athletic Department Website.  Click on the link at the bottom of the schedule to own you All Access pass to Colgate Men and Women’s hockey today.
     CUTV's coverage of Colgate hockey, in addition to live game action, includes interviews of players and coaches, pre-game, post-game and intermission reports, live sideline reports, highlights, previews, and various segments.  These reports are all created and produced by the CUTV crew. 
    This season, hockey producer Brian White ’08 and assistant producer Ruben Leavitt ’08 will be continuing their roles as play-by-play and color commentator, along with the help of Andy Potter ’07 and Jeff Saber’07.  However, there still remains several positions available on the hockey crew.  If you are interested in joining the hockey crew as a camera operator or sideline reporter, email Brian at bwhite@mail.colgate.edu.

 

 

CUTV Basketball

     Colgate men's and women's basketball returns to CUTV for its 4th year this season.  The completely student run broadcasts includes a play-by-play announcing team, sideline reporter, and 3 camera angles; it is hard to tell you are not watching ESPN.  New this season is an expanded webcasting schedule for Colgate fans to enjoy all broadcasts on the internet.
