Hannah Tinti grew up in Salem, Massachusetts. Her work has appeared in various magazines and anthologies, including Best American Mystery Stories 2003. Her short story collection, Animal Crackers, has sold in thirteen countries, and was recently a runner-up for the PEN/Hemingway award. Her novel, Resurrection Men, is forthcoming with the Dial Press. She is currently the editor of One Story magazine.
