David Thoreen's creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry have appeared in American Literary Review, The South Dakota Review, The Journal, and Slate. He has also published articles on Elizabeth Bishop, Barry Hannah, and Thomas Pynchon, most recently in American Postmodernity: Essays on the Recent Fiction of Thomas Pynchon. David is a professor of creative writing and literature at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
