THE BIKES ARE HERE!

Blue is the New Green.

After a couple of years hard work, the first fleet of Green Bikes is ready to go. We have a snazzy new fleet of 12 new mountain bikes freshly assembled at Adventure Bikes & Boards. These bikes will be our initial trial of the program. You can get your key for $10 at Base Camp. Please download and bring the documents available here. Enjoy the bikes!

Mission

The mission of Green Bikes is to provide the Colgate and Hamilton community with inexpensive, convenient, human-powered transportation to decrease reliance on automobiles.

How do I ride the bikes?

All you have to do is come down to Base Camp, sign a waiver, learn the guidelines of the program, and pay $10 to get your key. $5 of that is a refundable key deposit. Now you have access to any of the bikes in the program that are locked up around campus.
