Purchase of Green Tags
(Native Energy)
Thanks to the legwork of Jin Lee '03 and Emily Boyd, ENST program
assistant, Colgate is raising money to purchase Green Tags from
Native Energy to offset Colgate's CO2 emissions and help finance a
wind turbine project for Native Americans. |

Clean Air-Cool Planet Partnership
Agreement
Thanks to the legwork of Bob Turner, ENST program director, the
University administration has committed to inventorying and reducing
its greenhouse gas emissions.
The partnership agreement was signed by President Chopp during the
Earth Day celebration on the Quad. |

Campus Audit By ENST 480
John Novak is overseeing ENST 480 students who are continuing work
on the campus audit in the following areas: transportation, campus
survey, green building survey, and waste stream. |

Work w/ Local Land Groups Southern
Madison Heritage Trust
A working relationship has been developed with the Southern Madison
Heritage Trust (SMHT) to create an ENST-funded, student summer
internship. The research will be focused on gathering baseline
inventory data for the Preston Hill Reserve and creating an
interpretive trail and guide. |

Create Green Fund For Alumni Giving
Thanks to the legwork of Karl Clauss, the Green Fund for alumni
giving is a reality! An anonymous gift of $1,000 was already given
