Colgate Relay for Life - September 26-27 2008
· Raised more money than any other Colgate fraternity
· Largest relay team of any fraternity with 42 Iotans participating
a capella concert - October 2, 2008
· Held for the benefit of school children in Mtwapa, Kenya
· Chapter donated over $100
· Brothers Fitzgerald ’09, Krulewitz ’09, and Naidu ’10 organized & sang in the concert as members of the Colgate Thirteen
Pancake Breakfast with Tri Delta Sorority - October 2008
· Raised over $800
· Proceeds went to help children with muscular atrophy
· Over four hours of contribution by most brothers
Hamilton Movie Theater Children’s Saturday Matinee - January 31, 2009
· Donated $200 to provide a free movie for over 100 local children
· Over a dozen brothers attended
Pink at the Rink - February 14, 2009
· Fundraiser for breast cancer awareness
· Six brothers staffed tables at Reid Athletic Center for two hours
Row for Hope - February 28, 2009
· Catered party held at house to benefit brother Paul Ridley, Iota ’05, who rowed solo across the Atlantic Ocean to raise money for the Yale Cancer Institute
· 16 brothers participated in a rowing competition
· Raised over $2300 for the Row for Hope Cause

Parent’s Night Out - March 25, 2009
· Held at the Hall of Presidents
· Over a dozen brothers spent two hours playing games with the children of Colgate faculty and staff, allowing the parents to enjoy a night out
Green Bikes - Ongoing
· Iota chapter took over the Green Bikes program from Colgate Outdoor education
· Provides students with an environmentally conscious alternative to using motorized transportation to get around campus and the town of Hamilton
Brothers & Theta Chi Charity Poker Tournament - April 15, 2009
· Co-sponsored with Brothers
· Held at chapter house, all proceeds went to Blantyre North Relief Fund and Madison Group Home
· Over a dozen brothers participated, raising over $300
Students for Students Talent Show - May 17, 2009
· Talent show held to benefit effort to rebuild impoverished schools in the Dominican Republic
· Iota chapter donated $300 to pay for t-shirts to promote the talent show
· Several brothers participated in the show
Sidekicks End of the Year Festival - May 2, 2009
· Carnival held in the yard of the chapter house for local children to have a fun-filled Saturday
