A community barbeque was held on Thursday April 15, 2004 on the main floor of the Delta Upsilon house. The event was open to the public and several local families enjoyed a meal with the brothers of Delta Upsilon. Receiving invitations to the event were local volunteer firefighters, law enforcement, sanitation workers, townspeople and the Mayor of Hamilton, Charlie Getchonis. Resident Chef Mark Cotton provided an excellent buffet style barbeque replete with fine meats, fruits and salads for the hungry crowd. “In continuing Delta Upsilon's longstanding tradition of community involvement, we hope to maintain positive community relations with the gracious people of Hamilton ,” stated President Bob Mancuso. “The community barbeque is one of many ways Delta Upsilon looks to reach out to the community and give something back”
