Delta Upsilon is one of the oldest fraternities at Colgate, founded in 1865. DU has a diverse membership of brothers, though maintaining a large minority of football players who won the Patriot League Championship this fall. DU has had an impressive year, continually improving its choice membership with the addition of 28 new members this year while improving relations with the community, the administrators and faculty at Colgate.

Located at 86 Broad Street, the house is a work in progress, as seen in the renovation of the Brothers Room this past year. Delta Upsilon has been a particularly active fraternity on campus. Over the past year, several of the brothers participated in a retreat to Guelph, Canada to learn from other Delta Upsilon chapters so as to improve upon our own. On campus, we have participated in Adopt Broad Street, the AHA walk ,a scholarship dinner attended by brothers, faculty and notable administrators , and the distribution of apples to all professors in each academic department as a gesture of our appreciation for all their hard work. The annual Greek Awards banquet proved a success for DU this past April, winning six awards including Most Improved Chapter, Outstanding President and Most Improved Grade Point Average. Once again, DU "rocked out" to the tune of The Giants of Science and Square Pegs during Spring Party Weekend, shattering attendence records. This has been an exceptional year for Delta Upsilon, our achievements have made the loyal bonds of brotherhood ever-more strong and true, promising to continue the long history of DU at Colgate University.
