What a fitting and memorable way to celebrate the first summer of the millennium! As the Chenango Summer Music Fest celebrates its fourth season June 15-18, 2000, we continue our tradition of varied classical and popular music programming (something for everyone!), village events and special activities.  The village joins me in inviting you to relax and sample from our rich pallet during these four days. 
 
Once again, gifted artists from around the world offer their talents in a variety of concerts, all inspired in some way  by infectious dance...during some time, at some place.  Whether it be Gypsy rondos, tangos, Austrian folk dance or the wildly infectious Cuban beat our main stage artists will invigorate you and send you away dancing and humming.

You can unwind and renew yourself strolling about our historic village, shopping, snacking and visiting with the artists, or spend your afternoons just enjoying the stunning countryside, playing golf or exploring the beautiful Colgate University campus.  Village Day showcases the beauty and talents of our rich region, with Tapestry (Renaissance singers in costume), a Native American children's dance group, the Farmers' Market, Summer Sweets Contest and much, much more.   strings.jpg (43326 bytes)
