Hamilton Tourist Information
Our region of upstate New York is known as Leatherstocking Country, homage to James Fenimore Cooper. The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities and attractions. Bouckville, five minutes north of town, is an antiquing center with more than 30 shops.
Hamilton itself is a lovely rural village with a variety of architecture (a self-guided architectural walk is available), quiet neighborhoods, and small shops. The gorgeous hilly countryside surrounding the village is ideal for strolling, biking, rollerblading or running.
