Bothering classes and firing rockets on September 9th, 2008. Welcome to the website of the Colgate Chapter of the Society of Physics Students! We have been an active chapter since 2003/04! We had our 1st Annual Rocket Day in November 2004, and chartered a chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma that year. (See Article: Physics Club members launch honor society, rockets ). This year we've built a hovercraft, exploded bottles with liquid nitrogen, saved eggs from certain destruction (or not), shot off rockets, and played with fire! If you'd like to get involved with the physics club i.e. blow something up, feel free to contact Kelly (khenderson at students.colgate.edu) or Laura (lcoyle at students.colgate.edu).
