The Resolutions were envisioned during Spring Party Weekend 1992. It was then that the founding trio of Marissa, Jason, and Marc decided that Colgate needed something new, something different; something coed. And thus, coed a capella at Colgate was born. Since then, the Resos have grown and prospered. Ten years after the group began, the resos celebrated the induction of 4 new members, including Reso #100! Spring 2007 ushers in Reso #130, our only "newbie" - Adam Weisbarth.

The Resolutions are Colgate University's original coed a capella singing group. They perform at Colgate and other schools at both formal and informal venues. Their songs are drawn from a variety of musical genres, and are typically arranged by group members or adapted directly from source materials. The Resolutions produce albums featuring these songs biannually.
