We would like to congratulate the Men's Rugby
team on their Division II New York State Men's Regionals.
They will represent New York State at Nationals this
Spring.
The team is excited to join the Men's rugby team on a joint trip to
Scotland and London over Spring Break. The trip will include
Training Sessions with a Top International Coaches & Matches at
Scotland's Edinburgh University, Melrose R.F.C and Stirling
University and in London at Harlequins R.F.C.
Guided Tour of Edinburgh, Melrose, Stirling Castle and Murrayfield
Rugby Stadium – The Home of Scottish Rugby. In London the team will
enjoy an Open Top Bus Tour and attend the England vs Ireland match
in Twickenham in Final Match of 6 Nations.

The Colgate
Women's Rugby team moved up in the standings
this season and finished with a 2-3 record, with
all 3 loses coming in close games.
Our success was largely due to our coach
Anne-Marie Lemal-Brown, who, since coming to our
team 3 years ago, has turned around the program.
This year, Matt
Johnson joined our team as our Scrum Coach and
immediately improved our scrum.
In
addition, our senior captains Courtney Diamond
and Kate Silvey, and senior club president Emily
Denton all had stand-out season and helped the
team grow.
Seniors Gwynne Gallagher, Ann Marie Aviles,
Breanna Pendleton, and rookie senior Annabel
Hudson also led the team both on and off the
field.
We
look forward to next season when we will be
moving into a new, 9-team league.
