INFORMATION:
The objective of the Raiders Girls Hockey Summer ID Camp is to provide the committed pre-college aged female hockey player with the opportunity to be trained by the Colgate Hockey staff in a highly competitive training environment. Our focus is to provide a high level on-ice learning opportunity at the tempo and expectation level of the college athlete, with both practice and game situations.
ID CAMP FEATURES:
- The camp is only ONE day long.
- 3.5 hours of ice time.
- 3 On-Ice sessions: (1) high tempo, college level, skill development (2) small games, and (3) a full ice game.
- Information Session – College recruiting and College Athlete Expectations – Lunch will be provided to the participants.

The one day camp wil be Monday, August 1, 2011
LOCATION:
Colgate University is located on Route 12B in Hamilton, NY, 30 miles southwest of Utica and 38 miles southeast of Syracuse. From Syracuse, take the NYS Thruway East to exit 34 (Canastota), Route 5 east to Oneida, and Route 46 south (across Route 20) to 12B South to Hamilton. When driving to Hamilton, make sure to pick up Route 12B not Route 12. The camp will be held at Starr Rink in the Reid Athletic Center which will be on your right traveling on Route 12B, just beyond the main campus area and pond.
COST:
The cost of the 2011 Summer ID camp is $100.00 per player.
AGE & ABILITY:
The camp is designed for, and will only accept, Girls, ages 15-18. Further, it is recommended that participants have played on a competitive ice hockey team for a minimum of five years to be prepared for the rigors of the camp.
ENROLLMENT:
Enrollment will be limited to 36 skaters and 4 goalies. So, act quickly to reserve your spot. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first serve basis, by the date of receipt of a completed application and medical questionnaire (both found in the brochure pdf - click button below) along with full payment of $100.00.

9:00 – 9:30 am Check-In at Starr Rink
9:45 – 10:00 am Dynamic Warm-up
10:30 – 11:30 am On-Ice Skills Session

11:45 – 12:45 pm On-Ice Small Games Session
1:15 – 2:15 pm Lunch and Information Session
3:00 – 4:45 pm Full Ice Game
EQUIPMENT:
No hockey equipment will be provided, please bring full approved hockey equipment including helmets with full facemasks, mouthguards and sticks, etc. Also, please bring off-ice workout gear (i.e. sneakers, t-shirt, shorts etc.) for the dynamic warm-up. We will provide a camp jersey to all participants.
